Accessibility Statement for Sanoanimal
Quadrian Pte. Ltd. is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards to our online shop and learning platform.
This Accessibility Statement applies to:
- Sanoanimal Online Shop & Platform (including the purchase flow and customer account area) at shop.sanoanimal.com.
This statement is provided to support transparency and compliance with applicable accessibility obligations for digital services offered to consumers, including accessibility requirements for e-commerce services in the EU (implemented nationally, e.g., in Germany via the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG)).
1. Compliance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and to build and maintain the shop and platform in line with commonly used accessibility standards.
At present, the Sanoanimal Online Shop and Platform are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard.
We are working toward improved conformance over time and will prioritise barriers that materially affect purchasing, account access, and core learning functions.
2. Consistency with our Terms & Conditions
As stated in our General Terms and Conditions (Section 8.3) and our Training Regulations:
- While we strive for broad compatibility, we do not guarantee that all Digital Products (including videos, scripts, and interactive assessments) will be fully compatible with all legacy devices or specialized assistive technologies.
- Some of our educational materials, particularly older video recordings or complex scientific PDF scripts, may have technical limitations regarding screen-reader optimization or automated captioning.
3. Accessibility Features and Approach
We strive to ensure that key functions are usable with assistive technologies and accessible interaction patterns, including:
- Optimized color contrast: The color scheme has been optimized to provide sufficient contrast and improve the readability of text and interactive elements.
- Semantic heading structure: The heading hierarchy has been reviewed and adjusted so that headings are arranged logically and can also be interpreted correctly by screen readers.
- Subtitles for videos: Videos are provided with subtitles to make audiovisual content accessible to users who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Keyboard accessibility: Navigation, links, forms, and key interactive functions have been optimized for keyboard use.
- Visible keyboard focus: Interactive elements such as links, buttons, and form fields have a clearly visible focus indicator. This allows users to identify which element is currently selected when navigating with the keyboard.
- Skip link: A skip link has been implemented to allow keyboard and screen reader users to jump directly to the main content of the respective page.
- Screen reader compatibility and ARIA attributes: Semantic HTML and appropriate ARIA attributes are used to improve the usability and comprehensibility of the website for screen reader users.
- Alternative text for images: Relevant images are provided with meaningful alt attributes so that their content or function can also be understood by screen readers.
- Accessible forms: Form fields are provided with clear and correctly associated labels. Related form controls, such as groups of radio buttons, are semantically grouped using fieldset and legend.
We also aim to provide reasonable alternative ways to access information where a specific item cannot yet be made fully accessible within a short timeframe.
Notes on Third-Party Platforms

We use TalentLMS to provide selected online courses and learning content. The technical interface and certain functions of this platform are provided by TalentLMS and cannot be fully influenced by us. TalentLMS states that its platform is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 at Level AA. According to the provider, its accessibility assessment does not cover course content created or uploaded by customers. We remain responsible for the accessibility of the learning content that we provide within TalentLMS.

We use Vimeo to provide and play video content. The technical design and operation of the Vimeo video player, as well as other platform functions, are provided by Vimeo and can only be influenced by us to a limited extent. 5. Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology
The Sanoanimal Platform is designed to be compatible with: current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on up-to-date operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
Because accessibility depends on many variables (device, OS, browser, assistive tech version), users may experience differences in behaviour across setups.
6. Assessment Method
We assess accessibility using:
- Internal self-evaluation, including automated accessibility testing tools and manual checks of key user journeys (e.g., checkout, login, account access, content playback).
We plan to reassess periodically and when we make significant platform changes.
7. Feedback and Contact Information
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Sanoanimal. If you encounter barriers, please contact us and include:
