Such requests must be made in writing to office@sanoanimal.com with supporting documentation. If we accept the request, you will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of any prepaid fees, calculated from the date of termination to the end of the original contract term, less a reasonable administrative charge of no more than €50. We will respond to hardship requests within 14 days of receipt.

(4) Statutory Cancellation Rights: This clause does not affect any statutory cancellation or termination rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country of habitual residence, including (for UK consumers) the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and (for EU consumers) the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, as implemented in your member state.

§ 9 Liability and Governing Law

(1) We are liable for intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence, liability is limited to
foreseeable damages typical of the contract. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any matter for which it would be unlawful for us to exclude or limit liability.

(2) Governing Law: German law applies. For consumers, this choice of law applies only to the
extent that it does not deprive the consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions
of the law of their country of residence.

(3) Statutory Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit any statutory rights that you have as a consumer which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes, for UK consumers, the rights provided under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (including the requirements that digital content be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose, and as described) and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Where any provision of these Terms is inconsistent with your mandatory statutory rights, your statutory rights shall prevail.

(4) For Australian consumers: Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
