It is designed to meet and exceed disclosure requirements in major international markets, including the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) endorsement guides, UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) rules, and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) guidance.

This Disclosure applies to all Sanoanimal channels, including our website (shop.sanoanimal.de), blog, emails, webinars, learning platform, social media profiles, and communications by Sanoanimal consultants.

1. Material Connections (What Must Be Disclosed)

A “Material Connection” exists whenever Sanoanimal, its representatives, or participating partners receive any benefit that could reasonably be perceived to affect the objectivity of a recommendation. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Affiliate commissions or referral fees;
  • Discount-code-based rewards or credits;
  • Free or discounted products/services for review or use;
  • Sponsorship payments, speaking fees, or “ambassador” arrangements;
  • Ownership interests or close business relationships with a recommended brand.

Where a Material Connection exists, we aim to disclose it clearly so that users can understand the commercial context before acting on a recommendation.

2. Sanoanimal as an Affiliate – Our Recommendations

We may recommend third-party products (e.g., supplements, forage testing, software, or equipment).

  • Affiliate Links: If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
  • Neutrality & Standards: Our recommendations are based on our scientific standards and professional experience. We do not accept payment for “positive reviews only.”

Sanoanimal does not manufacture or control third-party products. We are not responsible for the performance, safety, or legal compliance of any third-party products linked or recommended. Any purchase from a third party is subject to that provider’s own terms and conditions.

3. Reviews, Testimonials, and Typical Results

  • Honest Opinions: All reviews reflect our honest opinions at the time of publication.
  • Results Vary: Success stories and testimonials regarding horse health, training, or business outcomes are not a guarantee of typical results. Individual outcomes depend on variables beyond our control (e.g., underlying health, environment, and compliance).
  • Incentivised Content: If a testimonial was provided in exchange for a benefit (e.g., a discount or free access), this will be explicitly disclosed.

4. Student / Partner Referral Program – Promoting Sanoanimal

Third parties (students, ambassadors, partners) may promote Sanoanimal using unique links or codes.

  • Commissions: These individuals may earn compensation for enrollments generated through their specific tracking links or codes.
  • Disclosure Obligation: We contractually require all partners to use clear and conspicuous disclosures (e.g., “#ad”, “#affiliate”, or “Paid Partnership”) placed so that users see them before clicking or purchasing.
  • Partner Responsibility: Referral partners are solely responsible for complying with the advertising laws in their own jurisdiction. Sanoanimal reserves the right to terminate partners who engage in deceptive marketing.

5. “Clear and Conspicuous” Display Standards

To remain compliant, we aim for all disclosures to be:

  • Close to the Link/Claim: Not buried in a footer or a separate “Legal” page.
  • Unavoidable: Visible on all devices without requiring the user to click “see more.”
  • Format-Specific: For video or audio, disclosures are made within the content itself and in the description. For social media “Stories” or “Reels,” the disclosure is overlaid on the visual content.

6. No Misleading Claims

We prohibit deceptive marketing, including:

  • Making health or “cure” claims that cannot be scientifically substantiated.
  • Implying an endorsement is “independent” or “neutral” when a Material Connection exists.
  • Hiding or obscuring the commercial nature of a post.

7. Consultants: Employees vs. Independent Practitioners

Sanoanimal consultants may be employees of Quadrian Pte. Ltd. or independent freelancers.

  • Disclosure Rule: Regardless of employment status, any consultant promoting a product where a Material Connection exists must disclose that connection.
  • Liability: Independent practitioners are responsible for their own legal compliance and professional disclosures. Sanoanimal provides these guidelines as a minimum standard for the brand.

8. Your Choice and Third-Party Terms

You are under no obligation to use affiliate links or discount codes. You may purchase recommended products directly from providers.

  • Third-Party Sites: When you click an affiliate link, you leave the Sanoanimal Platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, terms, or content of third-party websites.
